things are looking up, but it's not fixed yet.

As you probably know, various small music venues around Melbourne and the rest of Victoria have been called upon by a spate of inspectors to employ security guards or to cancel their live entertainment. numerous venues have been unable to afford the guards and musicians have been losing jobs.

this website is in place as a source of information, and is aimed, in particular, at musicians, many of whom have been alarmed by recent reports, but confused by lack of information, and also by conflicting information, rumour, assumptions and speculation. this site is also potentially of use to journalists reporting on the situation.
